Chat Problem

I'm having a problem where my chat isn't appearing to people. It's happenening not to just the young players, but nobody can see my chat. It's completely random when it happens, there's no indication that it's being filtered or censored, and no question mark above another player's head. And I'm not talking about just a few words disappearing, I'm talking about entire sentences not showing up to anybody. I can type 20 different words and not a single one would show up to anybody. It's affecting every form of chat for me; local, crew, guild, whisper, and privateer chat. It's not filtering the words or censoring, I typed a sentence where not one word would normally be filtered/censored to a younger player and still nothing appeared to anybody. Also tried typing the same sentence three times in a row in under a minute, with no italicized words in it and not one sentence was seen by the person I was talking to(He was not a younger player). This has been happening for a few days now. I did get a language warning a little before this started for one word I said, just one warning, but it wouldn't be logical for the punishment to randomly make entire sentences with no bad words or normally censored words in it to just not show up at all. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

This has been something that has existed in the game for a long while now, and I find it to be highly obnoxious. Your sentences are censored without any warning, and if you wanted to explain something, every sentence you typed could go censored and you would never realize it. It's to the point where you may as well speak word per word.

It would be acceptable if the game told you your sentence was censored.

I've accidentally had a couple of typos that led to such auto warnings. But had no trouble chatting thereafter. Happened only once to each pirate. The only disappearing chats I've seen are the usual due to their intricate chat filter, or due to some latency issue.

Are you still experiencing this after the server reset of yesterday?

I'll have to test it out to see if I'm still experiencing this.

Just tested if my chat was blocked, and it still is today.

Okay, even though I do not know, nor will I ask what the no-no word you typed, its probably an instant auto-ban lasting for the duration of the ban. Contact Member Services about it and see what their reply will be.
