Double xp badge
I've seen pirates with what looks like a double reputation badge next to their name, how do you get this or is this warranted fora special occassion?

it was from a quest long ago...what you are seeing are people who JUST decided to do the quest. (they had it picked up or partially done)

I believe it is usually the father's day quest that people get it from. I think there is also an old valentine's quest available on the welcome servers that gives you the double xp too.

I get this when I "get in the zone" while fighting enemies. Once it was random. I thought it happened to everybody -_- (Not that I'm complaining)
