Came back after like 2 years, no characters
I'm a founder for POTCO, and I just recently decided to come and check things out, however my Pirate seems to be deleted? I know I had one and it says "searching" thought it's doing nothing. Is this something that I'll have to contact customer support about?

Welcome back to the game! I'm pretty sure pirates get deleted after 90 days if they're basic. Not sure about UA, but I'm guessing it's a longer time or pirates never get deleted. Were you UA or basic?
I remember my friend had this problem on Pixie Hollow, and as she wasn't a paying member Disney couldn't do anything for her. I think you'll have to start again. :s |

That's news to me Pixie. I've known pirates who returned to the game 3-4 years later. Their pirates were not deleted. To my knowledge, POTCO does not actively delete pirates for being inactive. If they exist in the Directory, then they exist period.
As for you, Mate, welcome back and sorry to hear that you lost your pirate. Are you sure you didn't delete the pirate yourself? If not you, perhaps someone in your family did? The Searching is typical when you have a poor connection or severe lag. By all means contact Tech Support about it. It is possible that your pirate was deleted when a major overhaul of the Inventory took place. Since you were not playing and were not aware of the bug, Tech Support had no way of fixing it then. Some did have it worse than others. That's just how it is. IF that happened, they'll compensate you for your loss. So contact Tech Support and explain your case. Let us know what they say. |

^actually it might have been the rollbacks, but it wasn't as far back as two years ago.
It might be just Pixie Hollow that characters get deleted on. Whatever happened, I do think you'll have to restart. |

Sorry to hear that you can't find your old pirate. I did have an old pirate from back in January 2008 (I only played for about a day), then I found him again when I came back in the Fall of 2010, but since then I haven't been able to find him.

I've heard that Disney does delete pirates after a certain amount of time, but I also have found pirates I created way back in 2007. So you might just want to contact them.
And Hammy, If you go to their home website, and go to "Account Services," then "Forgot Account ID?" you will be asked for your E-Mal address. Once you put that in Disney will send an E-Mail to that address with a list of all the account names for any account you've created with that E-Mail. That would be a good way to try for your pirate. |

A friend told me ingame that he also lost a pirate. I dont know if Disney did this but really makes no sense if they did.
