Journey of the Last of the Bladebearers 2: The Dark Bladebearers
Aye, this is the sequel ye have been waiting for.
Now sit back and enjoy! By the way, there's going to more than just one part to the prologue, because there's some story you have to get into first.Prologue Chapter 1: John Skyfish The sky was blue and the sun was shining. It was a perfect day to get out and get some sword practice with your friends! John had the same idea as described and woke up to get changed and get out so he can naturally practice. John is John Skyfish, a young boy who has yet to learn what his existence really means.. He picked up his sword and told his mom that he was going outside to train his sword skills. His mother nodded and said, "Good luck!" He ran outside surprisingly fast, but that was because he had overslept and it was getting late to meet his friends. He made it to the courtyard and saw three young gentlemen sitting cross-legged on the ground near the archway. "Sorry I'm late, guys. I overslept again." One of his friends spoke, "No worries, John. We all know much you love getting your beauty sleep!" His three friends laughed and even John let out a slight chuckle. "Alright, John, here's the rules," said the second friend. "This time we do two on two. That sound fair? Oh, and only swords allowed." John was okay with the idea. After all, his only weapon was a sword. His three friends were named James Goldswain, Joseph Lockhart, and Ben Ironcastle. All three boys had black hair and had met John when he was taking a walk. The four boys headed towards the dock to practice two on two. John was very skilled when it came to swordsmanship, and so were his three friends. They had finally made it to the dock when they had started practicing. James was on John's team and Ben and Joseph were on the other. James started counting down for the match to start. "3...2....1...GO!" Luckily, John was quick and disarmed Ben by hitting him with the hilt of his blade. Next, James and John went for Joseph. Joseph was surprisingly swift and skilled. If I had to compare both Joseph's and John's skills, I would say that they are equal. Joseph made short work of James by kicking him, then slashing him into the ground. It was John versus Joseph now. Joseph made the first move and tried to hack at John, but John's quick reflexes blocked it. Joseph, eager to outsmart John made VERY swift slashes at John, all of them he dodged. Joseph was surprised that anyone was fast enough to dodge that. Joseph had to take a breather and he was open for John to attack. John kicked Joseph down and pointed his blade at Joseph's body. "Looks like I win Joseph," said John with a grin. Joseph was stiff in shock until John saw a man staring at them. He was a man with a belt and red shirt. John's eyes were keen enough to see that there was a blade in the man's belt. James took one glance at the man and his pupils suddenly began to shrink. He said to John, "Uh, come on John. Maybe we should get some rest somewhere else." James was still looking at the stranger and so was John. There was just something odd about that man to John... John walked back to his house and saw his mother waiting outside for him. John was puzzled. She usually only stood outside when there was an announcement for her to make. He walked up to her and she caught sight of him. She said, "Ah, there you are, John. Listen, tomorrow you're going to be meeting the parents of your friends. Behave yourself and have fun when we're there." She smiled and John looked very excited by the looks of it. He was finally going to meet his friends' parents. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What do you think is happening? Who is this John person and who is the man that he encountered? Prologue Chapter 2: Meet The Parents
John threw off his blanket and quickly jumped out of bed. Today was the day he met his friends' parents! He ran outside to eat breakfast. His mother had already prepared some cooked crab for him. John said it was delicious and carried on with his preparations. He packed his things: lunch, clothes....and his sword for emergencies. John took a few moments to stare at his blade. He had never paid any mind to the foreign markings on his blade. He had always just admired the blade and not what was on it. He figured he shouldn't waste his time and finally put his sword into his belt. He said goodbye to his mother and ran outside to meet his friends once again. James was already standing there with Ben and Joseph. "At least you weren't late again," laughed James. The four friends laughed at this comment until the laughter became silent. James then said, "Come on, let's meet my father first." The four friends nodded and the other three followed James. They found themselves at a small shack that looked a little dirty. John was actually disgusted just by the look of it. He decided he shouldn't make a face in front of James, though, so he hid his true feelings about the shack. The four friends headed inside to take a look. James gave his friends a tour of the house: living room, kitchen, his father's room, and his room. John was surprised all of those rooms could fit in this one small shack. Then, James's father appeared from the living room. "Ah, boys, you're here! Pleasure to meet you, Ben, Joseph, and John." He shook all of their hands friendly. Even though James's father was friendly, he had an iron grip. John couldn't escape the grasp of the man. There seemed to be something strange about the man, though. He seemed a lot more interested about John than any of the other boys, even James his own son. It seemed as if the man thought there was something special about John. John broke the silence and kindly asked Mr. Goldswain his first name. James's father, however, seemed a little scared to say his name. James seemed as if he understood why, too. John, eager to change the subject, blurted out, "Do you know about the Dark Age?" He quickly covered his mouth. This was something he had learned in school and didn't know if it was appropriate to talk about it outside of school in the house of his friend. Mr. Goldswain didn't look horrified, though. He simply answered, "Actually, I do know...I was one of the warriors who fought in it. It was a very dark time. I could never forget about it." John gasped that Mr. Goldswain was a warrior from the Dark Age. Mr. Goldswain didn't seem to want to talk more about it, though, so he only changed the subject. "Lunch, anyone?" Everyone shouted in glee, "Yes, please!" Mr. Goldswain took them to the kitchen to eat and served them roasted chicken. John was surprised. A small and dirty shack such as this may not be beautiful, but the eating is great. After that, the boys quickly became drowsy and decided to rest for the day. John was still excited. He was going to meet Joseph's father tomorrow and didn't want to have to wait so long. His mother said goodnight to John and tucked him in his bed. He rolled over and thought about tomorrow as he slowly drifted off to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry this one was very late, but real life comes first! Enjoy the chapters to come!

Prologue Chapter 3: Strange Happenings
John woke up early the next day to meet Joseph's father. He always wanted to meet the parents of one of his friends and he was finally going to do it. He got ready to go outside and meet his friends again so he can be directed to Joseph's house. As he walked out of his room, he didn't see his mother anywhere. "Mother? Are you there? Hello?" As John kept puzzling about the disappearance of his mother, he finally decided she probably just went to get more food. As he walked outside, another strange thing happened. It was well past the meeting time and his friends weren't there yet. He knew that they would wait for him even if he was late. He walked out of the courtyard to the dock and strangely saw no one walking around or doing business....not even the dockworker or the Navy guards. The only person he saw was the same man he saw when he and his friends were sword practicing... The man caught sight of John and took off his shirt and belt to reveal a black coat! The man ran away from John further into the town. John, not thinking, ran after the man into the town. Surprisingly, he had the same speed as the stranger and kept up with the man. Finally, the man stopped at a ship that had crashed into the town 32 years ago. The man stepped inside the captain's quarters with John following behind the black coated stranger. When John got inside, he lost sight of the stranger. He thought in his head, Where could he have gone? It can't be far if he went in here. Cautiously, he looked around for any sign of the stranger in the black coat. Finally, he saw a piece of paper lying on the table that had a note on it: "Hello, John...if you are reading this, you must immediately go back to the town. You are in danger here in the captain's quarters." John was puzzled. How did the person know his name? And, why was it so dangerous? Could this have something to do with people disappearing? Desperate for answers, John ran back to the town to find out what was happening to him and this town. He needed to know more. When he got there, he noticed a new ship docked at the port. He wondered if he would meet anyone there. Curious to see, he walked over to the ship to find a surprise...Mr. Goldswain as a pirate! Then, John saw three other men working with him on the ship. One of the men wore a dark longcoat and a Dark Ostrich Hat with Adventure Boots and a black and gold belt. The other wore just some piratey clothes and looked like he hadn't exactly been a pirate a long time ago. The last one looked like... no, could it be? John thought, Jack Sparrow!! They were all working on the ship like there was no tomorrow. John ran over to greet the pirates, especially Mr. Goldswain. When John made it over, he greeted, "Hello, Mr. Goldswain! Can you introduce me to your friends?" Mr. Goldswain and the others looked at each other. "I think we're the ones who owe an explanation to you." John looked puzzled. "What explanation?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry it was very late. Power was out so I couldn't get it out sooner. But, here it is! Enjoy!

Prologue Chapter 4: The Truth
"Well," Mr. Goldswain continued, "there's more to your existence than you think. You see, John...you have a different identity. And, that identity.... is that you are the light part of Jack Seaeagle." The man in the black and gold apparel said, "And, we are not ordinary men. When he told you he was a warrior in the Dark Age, he was not lying. And, our true names are," he pointed to Mr. Goldswain. "Gastro." He pointed to himself. "Delmaria Darkskull." He pointed to Jack Sparrow. "Jack Sparrow, the infamous pirate." He then pointed to the pirate that looked new. "Mark." Mark, (as smart as ever since the last part of the story) explained, "You see, the black coated man you saw carries great interest in you. He is one of the Dark Bladebearers who seek to seize control of the darkness and avenge those who had dark intentions, but failed to achieve them. That man wants to kidnap you so that we can't wake Jack Seaeagle. They know he is a great threat to darkness." Jack Sparrow then said, "Ye see now, mate, why yer so important?" John couldn't believe his ears. All his life he had wanted answers... and, here they were, as horrifying as he thought they would be. Gastro then said, "We have to take you to the Pod Room where we're keeping Jack. We found him in the remains of Raven's Cove. He is still very much alive, but in the impact he lost his light self which is you." John, worried, then said, "And what of my mother?" Gastro looked scared, as he was hoping that John wouldn't ask and that he would be free of worries. "Well...your mom...also is fake. She was created by our own minds and we implanted that idea into Jack's memory." John looked very sad at this and thought he had someone that loved him. He then burst into tears and said, "So, all this time I've been living in a fake town with a fake mother and fake friends?" Gastro, though sad to admit it, nodded. John, thinking there was no more reason to stay there said, "All right..I'll go to your Pod Room. I guess I understand that the real world is depending on my sacrifice." Gastro nodded and allowed John passage to their ship. It was Del's ship, the Victory Shark, and it was the mightiest and fastest ship on the high seas. When everyone got ready, Del shouted, "FULL SPEED AHEAD!" The crew untied the masts and set sail for the Pod Room that was directly on an island. They landed and made it to a white room that looked bright. Inside one of the pods, John could see a faint figure that looked like a boy with a sword in his belt. John, amazed, was glad to see his real self. He smiled and said, "Well, Jack...looks like your waiting is....over." John stood in front of a pod as it opened revealing the full figure of the boy that carried a weapon. As John accepted his fate, he stood straightly, closed his eyes, and became a shimmering light that traveled inside Jack Seaeagle. The four Bladebearers watched in amazement as John went inside Jack. Jack slowly opened up his eyes and saw the four men. "Guys, you're here!" And with that, the real journey begun. Chapter 1: The Awakening
Who is Jack Seaeagle, exactly? He is the light of all worlds and is loyal to his friends. He's the warrior that fights against the darkness alongside his warrior friends, the Bladebearers. Their recent battle with the darkness ended up with Jack sacrificing himself to shield the world from the blast that could destroy it. And, who was John Skyfish? He was the light half of Jack's soul and heart...he was Jack's memories. As Jack jumped out of the pod and landed on the white floor, he yawned and asked a simple question. "What happened to me? One second I feel dead, the next I feel lively. What's up with that?" Del and Gastro didn't try to answer his question. They knew there was already trouble and that if they didn't hurry, the world would end. "No time to explain. Just come with us before they get here." said Gastro. Confused, Jack replied, "Who's they?" Out of nowhere, an echoing voice called out, "You called us?" All of a sudden, five black coated men appeared out of dark holes and stood from the above platform! "Ah, thank you for awakening the hero my friends. You saved us a lot of trouble there." The five men laughed. Del yelled worriedly, "What do you want, you strangers?" Smirking, the leader of the men said, "Strange? We're not strange. We're positively human." The five men laughed once again. Jack Seaeagle then yelled out, "Then if you're not so strange, why don't you show us your faces?!" The leader then said, "Hello, Jack my brother. It's been a long time." Jack looked both shocked and confused. "You're not my brother!!" The leader then said, "Oh, how sad that you don't remember your own brother. I suppose that you won't remember that I was taken away from our family too then." Jack then replied, "You're lying! I don't have a brother, at least not in my memory! I would never forget one of my own family!" "Really? Then, tell me...do you remember our mother or father?" Jack looked speechless. He then shook his head. "Exactly. Here's my side of the story... that fateful day when we were taken away, I was whisked onto a barren beach with no food or inhabitants. I was positively stranded. Then, the darkness came to me." said the leader. He continued, "It asked me if I wanted food. I said yes to it and waited for a reply. He then told me that if I wanted it, I would have to become one with the darkness myself. I refused again and again. Until, I realized...the darkness is too powerful to be struck down. With it, you could do anything. I finally agreed and I was given total power. The darkness made me a Dark Bladebearer and gave me the task to defeat all Bladebearers of Light. And, here you all are including my brother." Jack didn't know what to do. Would he fight his brother? But, what if this man wasn't his brother? He had no choice. "I'll fight you. Brother against brother. And, no help from your men over there." The man looked surprised that Jack had it in him. Perhaps Jack was stronger and braver than he originally thought. Nevertheless, he summoned his blade and got into his ready stance. Jack also summoned his blade and readied himself with his stance. The two brothers would fight to the death unless one of them gave up. There was no escaping for either of them. The man's men stepped into the sidelines and so did Del, Gastro, Mark, and Jack Sparrow. The battle was about to begin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Sorry it took so long. Honestly, I got a bit lazy. :P Nevertheless, here it is. A cliffhanger at the end. Woohoo for cliffhangers! Last edited by Captain Gas; 12-09-2011 at 03:39 AM.. |

Chapter 2: Brother Against Brother
The two brothers waited for the right moment to strike, the man with dual blades and Jack with a single, magic blade. Finally, the man took a step backward and Jack took this as an opportunity. He charged a magic blast and shot it at the man. Unfortunately, the man was just as skilled as Jack and he jumped over the blast coming down with a hard swipe. Jack only barely blocked it and swung his blade to the man's stomach. The man parried the attack and cleaved down at Jack only for his strike to be deflected yet again by Jack's quick reflexes. The two swordsmen fought back and forth with no end to the battle. Jack sidestepped and dodged the man's next attack and stabbed his blade out to strike the man. The man blocked the stab and swung his blade at Jack, only to miss. Eventually, they both got tired but still continued fighting. Finally, the man said, "Perhaps you're just as good a swordsman as you are a bluffer. I'm proud of you, brother...unfortunately, my task is to destroy the Bladebearers of Light and sadly you are one. But, if you join the Dark Bladebearers, we can overthrow the darkness and rule all worlds! What will it be, brother?" Jack stared at the man for a second, then shook his head. "Thanks, but no thanks. Just because you're my brother, I'm not going to join you. My friends here are trying to save the world, not conquer it." The man smirked and said, "Bad choice, brother. Bad choice, indeed....and let me ask you one more question." Curious, Jack asked, "What?" The man grinned evilly then said, "How much do you love this world?" The man then stabbed his blade into the ground and made the ground shake like an earthquake! Then, he took the blade out, laughed, then disappeared into a dark hole alongside his men. All of a sudden, a giant hole opened up in the sky and swallowed half of the town! "Oh, no!" said Jack. Gastro swallowed hard. "We...we have to go check out what's causing that hole in the sky..." The group nodded and ran for the spot where the hole was. They made it to the center of town which was completely untouched and saw the hole right above them. Then, a familiar face came down....Bart Gunshot! "Hm hm hm hm, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Surprised to see me, you filthy Bladebearers? Don't be. Don't you see? I AM the darkness and what controls it. Ah, those Dark Bladebearers are just what I need to wipe you all out. After all, you're nothing but a race of warriors who fought for freedom." All of a sudden, dark creatures emerged from the ground and poised to strike! "Now, you no good Bladebearers will become extinct..." He signaled to the creatures to strike and they charged at our heroes! "Now...now do you see what I've been through and what I've worked unbelievably hard to achieve?!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Any thoughts? Leave 'em in the comments and desperately wait for the next chapter which hopefully I won't be too lazy to release this time. :P |

Chapter 3: Return of the Darkness
The creatures jumped at our heroes as they blocked with their blades and sliced and diced at the minions of the dark. Shouting over the racket, Gastro said, "Don't let him get away!" Jack replied, "How?! There are too many of them and I can't escape!" Then, Gastro shone his light at the creatures holding off Jack and Jack ran after Bart Gunshot as the man struggled to escape. Then, the Dark Bladebearers appeared in front of Jack. "Hey, out of my way, guys! I don't have time for you!" All five men laughed at this comment and Jack's brother said, "You take on all five of us? You'd be dead in a matter of seconds. Not even you stand a chance against a horde of exceptionally skilled swordsmen." Jack smirked and said, "Maybe not like this, but..." He balled his hands into fists and concentrated his soul and energy. He gritted his teeth and strained his mind. Suddenly, the whole earth started to shake! A golden aura appeared around our hero and his sword turned into pure gold. Suddenly, golden armor covered his whole body as he said, "Now, you guys are in for it. After all... you asked for it." Four of the men were paralyzed in horror, but the leader, Jack's brother, said, "So, the legends are true...the Super Bladebearer really is real. And my own brother is exactly that. But, I feel no envy nor jealousy. All I feel is the desire to destroy the Bladebearers of Light!" Jack chuckled and said, "Heh, you wish." All of a sudden, he disappeared and reappeared behind four of the men. He took one big slash and took them all down in an instant! Jack's brother said, "I don't feel fear. I feel nothing but the darkness." He pointed his blade at Jack. "My name is...Michael Seaeagle." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Del threw his blade and destroyed ten of the monsters and his sword, acting like a boomerang, returned and destroyed five more. But, it was useless. They kept on coming. But, one thing bothered Del the most. Bart's words, 'Now do you see what I've been through and what I've worked unbelievably hard to achieve?!' Del had no idea what Bart meant or what he had worked to achieve. One thing was for sure: It couldn't be good. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yay, now we'll start having Story A and Story B in every chapter. Yay for different sides of stories. |

Long awaited chapter is here. Keep an eye out for more.
Chapter 4: Struggle Between Balances Jack was not backing down. He was a Super Bladebearer now and nothing could stop him from beating down his brother. But, something was holding him back. He just couldn't bring himself to strike. Was it the fact that Michael was his brother or was he just too much of a kind soul to take another's life so mercilessly? "You know, Michael...you seem calm for someone who's just witnessed a Super Bladebearer transformation. Are you so scared, you can't even show it?" "Please, brother. I know that you're too kindhearted to strike me down. I can win this fight very easily with that advantage. And what's worse for you, I'm only stalling for time." Jack widened his eyes. "Time for what? Bart's master plan?" Michael laughed. "Not just that...total domination of the worlds. Once the darkness swallows them, all worlds shall be ours to keep." Jack pointed his blade at Michael as the two brothers prepared for another battle. Michael then swung at Jack! Jack closed his eyes and blocked with his blade. But, he didn't feel anything touch his sword. When he opened his eyes, Michael had disappeared. Had he run away? Or was this a trick to attempt to confuse Jack? He didn't know. All of a sudden, Michael's men stood back up from unconsciousness. "Long live the darkness." said the men as they pointed their blades at the Super Bladebearer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ As Del, Gastro, Mark, Sparrow, and the Partners raced after Bart Gunshot, they noticed a faint light in the distance. "What's that?" said Gastro. "Seems like a soul from the realm of light being tortured." replied Del. All of a sudden, the earth started to rumble and explosions happened everywhere! Then they remembered: Jack! "Jack could be in danger! We have to save him!" said Mark. Del then said, "I'm afraid we can't do that. This is his battle, not ours. Besides, he's too far away. He should be fine." Although reluctant to, Mark obeyed and kept following the light. The world was trembling under the immense struggle between light and darkness. The war had just begun. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally got a chapter done. Hope you like it! |

Chapter 5: Jack's Father
As the Partners and Bladebearers made their way through the wastelands and grounds with dead skeletons and bodies, they got closer and closer to the light. The ground was still shaking and dust flew around everywhere. Sometimes, even sand got in their eyes. It was a rough journey, but they knew they could make it. They knew the light had to mean something. Could it be a long lost friend? There was no telling. But, they knew one thing. The light is always a guide. They made their way through the trembling ground, the flying dust and sand, and finally the light was closer. It used to be faint, and now it was bright. "Agh...I can't see. It's so bright!" said Gastro. "Yes, well the light tends to shine very brightly now and then." replied Del. They could hear the sounds of a voice screaming for help now. "Help!!! Help!!! I can't bear it any longer!" Then, they heard another voice cackle and talk. "Silence, mortal fool! No one is coming to help you! You're just a lowly citizen of light! Nothing more, nothing less! Submit to my side and I shall stop torturing you." "N-No! I would never join the likes of you! My son would be devastated!" The cackling voice spoke once again, "Your son is likely to be dead by now! Do you know why? Because your other son killed him! He is on my side now, and if you join it, you two shall be family again!" The first voice was speechless. "No...I don't believe that Michael would kill Jack! You're lying! Why should I believe you after everything you've done to me?!" Gastro couldn't bear it any longer; he leaped into action and threw a magic blast at the cackling man. "Fools....you don't know your place." Then, they recognized the voice...it was Bart! "You shall know my power by the time I'm through with you!" The man laughed and prepared to strike. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Jack looked at all of the men. He looked around for anything that might help. He found nothing. The wind was blowing and a new battle was starting. Then, quick as lightning, Jack flew and stabbed one of the men right in the heart! Blood came out and poured onto the ground. "Now you know not to mess with me!" The men cowered in fear and disappeared into black holes. Then, Jack flew into the air to inspect his surroundings. Then, he noticed the faint light. He flew towards it at lightning speed and landed right where our heroes were. He looked at everyone, then looked at Bart. "You again...I'll never forgive you, Bart." Then, he looked at the other figure. He couldn't believe his eyes. No...it couldn't be..."D-Dad?" "Son..." But before he could finish, he was struck by a blade again! "Silence! No time for reunions! Now, you fools shall die!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pretty epic, huh? Leave your thoughts. Chapter 6: Truths
There was a dead silence in the air. Jack, in awe that he found his father not dead but alive, was clenching his teeth and trying to think about his next move. "Yes, your father's here. I found him lingering in the air as an empty soul. Then, I restored him to who he really was: your father. I knew I could use him to my advantage, so I decided not to kill him. And, he's been a great help to me as well." He looked at Jack's father and tugged on his neck. "Isn't that right?" Jack could hear a muffled growl of anger from his father. "Let my father go, now." snarled Jack. "Or what? You'll slice me to death?" replied Bart in a sarcastically scared tone. "Ooh, I shudder at the thought of it. Pity you'll never be able to do it." Jack had never felt so angry before. He was waiting for everything he had to come out of him automatically somehow. It did; except not in a way that he would've thought of. "LET HIM GO NOW, YOU SCOUNDREL! YOU'RE PATHETIC! WHY DON'T YOU TRY AND PICK A FAIR FIGHT?! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A NO GOOD, PATHETIC COWARD!" The words had just flooded out of him. Even the others were surprised to see him talk so angry like that. "Oh, so the little boy thinks he could defeat me? How cute. You couldn't even make me flinch if you wanted to." said the menacing Bart. "JUST WATCH ME!!" said Jack as he rushed forward to attack Bart. Jack's blade touched, but not exactly hit Bart's shoulder. "Hm? Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize we were starting." said Bart in a mocking tone. Bart released a pulse of dark energy and shot it right at Jack, who was propelled into the wall! Jack moved forward to strike again, but then Bart disappeared. He looked around, then paused suddenly. He turned slowly to look behind him, and Bart was there! He had teleported there somehow using his dark powers. "Hello, there...and goodbye." Bart forcefully punched Jack and sent him flying into the ground. Jack was angry and balling his fists. If he didn't succeed in defeating Bart, his father would die. He had to win for the fate of him and his father. Just as Jack got up to strike again, he heard a voice speak. "Master, we are here." It was Michael and his now remaining three men. "It's about time!" snapped Bart. "Have you brought it...?" Michael nodded and held out a crystal. It looked shiny and was a ruby color. "Perfect, then. We now have the ancient jewel of Asmatak." Jack and the others were confused. "Asmatak?" said Gastro. "It's a jewel that is said to contain unimaginable power that would be given to whoever gets it." answered Del. "My master plan is almost complete. It's all falling into place. My dream shall finally be fulfilled!" Bart laughed maniacally. "What is your plan, anyway?" questioned Del. Bart stopped laughing for a minute. "Ah, but isn't it obvious? Both to take control of all worlds and after I've taken this one over, I'll be able to control the balances and make darkness supreme!" Jack then said, "I...can't let you....do that!!" Jack ran at Bart again in a futile attempt to strike him down. He got knocked to the ground once again. Michael then said, "Sir, the new world we are creating is almost complete too." Bart turned around. "Ah, is it? Good. Let me check." Michael bowed and said, "As you wish, sir." Bart made an unusual rip in space by making a black hole and entered it. Jack then said, "No, wait!!" He jumped into the portal after Bart! Del had yelled, "No, Jack! Don't!" But, it was too late. He had already entered the portal and was left with Bart alone... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Woohoo! Got that epic chapter finished. Tell me what you think in the comments. |

Chapter 7: The Real Battle Begins
The Partners and Bladebearers were speechless; Jack had deliberately thrown himself into Bart's dark portal leading to his own creation of a world. "He's gone..." said Gastro. Everyone else was too shocked to speak. Then, Del broke the silence. "All right, guys. We have to find a way into that world." Everyone agreed to that except for the Dark Bladebearers. "Are you forgetting something?" said Michael. "Maybe you should try defeating us before trying to find a way into that world of his." "Jack will find a way to defeat him. He's never lost in a battle." said Mark. Michael simply laughed. "Are you deaf or blind? Master has the jewel of Asmatak, allowing him stronger power that not even you can imagine." Gastro drew his blade and pointed it at Michael. "Tell us how to get into that world...or else." Michael evilly grinned. "Or else what? If I don't tell you, you won't be able to get into the world and Master will rule all worlds. And if you kill me, you won't be able to find a way in since I'm the only other one who knows." Jack's father then said, "Michael...please don't do this..." Michael then turned to his father. "Sorry, father, but you no longer command me. My master is Bart and I will do what he says." Jack's father then replied, "Michael, has the darkness overtaken you?! Being led by that scumbag will lead to your doom, not your glory. Once he gets what he wants, he'll kill you and lead all worlds by himself. He can't be trusted." "Nice try, but Master Bart would never do something like that. I've made my choice and you can't change it, father. The best you can do is just hope my pitiful little brother wins. Which is impossible since Master Bart is now more powerful than ever." "Michael, listen to me!! Jack is your little brother! You can't just let him die! At least he's choosing to do the right thing! Don't let the darkness overtake you like that! Be more like your brother--" "SHUT UP! I won't be like Jack and I won't overthrow the darkness. But, since it would be entertaining to watch a futile attempt to stop Master Bart..." Michael held out his hand and made a rip in space just like Bart. It was another dark portal! "Here...go. Try to help him...it won't work." Michael was holding his head as it felt like his head was overflowing with guilt. The Partners, Bladebearers, and Jack's father walked into the portal and found the world of which Bart made. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Jack stood motionless in front of Bart, blade ready and stance ready. Bart laughed. "Do you honestly think you can defeat me after I've obtained the jewel of Asmatak? With it, nothing can stop me from destroying you!" Bart closed his hand over the jewel and absorbed its power. "Yes...let your power flow within me!" He then recited an ancient chant. "Glory is intertwined with darkness. Wickedness sprouts over the branches of might. But, fear not the darkness but overtake the light! Mihj mariko platika menti!" The jewel's light glowed in his hand. "Yes...it deems me worthy of its power! Now, my dreams have been fulfilled!" Suddenly, a magic blast was shot at his hand and made the jewel fly in the air. "What...NO! The jewel! Save it, you idiot!" Jack hesitated and stood there, motionless. Suddenly, the jewel hit the floor, crashed, and broke like a fragile piece of glass! "NOOO! Do you realize what you've just done?!" "Yes." said Gastro in the distance. "We've stopped you from gaining unlimited power." Bart then stood, shaking, horrified at what just happened. "Not just that, you idiot...you angered the spirit trapped within it and released it!" Confused, Gastro said, "What?" Then, Del said, "So, the legends are true...it was said that if anyone was deemed unworthy or abused the jewel, an evil spirit would attack the person holding the jewel and kill them. And now we've released it into this world!" The evil spirit came out of the jewel and had a red glow. It spoke in a frightening tone and spoke dark words. "Who dares to disturb me in my ancient slumber?! Your foolishness will make you pay dearly!" He then looked around at all of our heroes. "So...no one shall come clean? Fine...THEN ALL OF YOU MUST PERISH!" He struck his fist into the ground and make his evil energy flow through Bart's world! "Now, what I would've done if it weren't for those Bladebearers thousands of years ago, is about to be done right here!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comments, anyone? Chapter 8: A Powerful Foe
Jack jumped back in fright, then said, "Um, what in the world is that?!" The spirit looked down at him. "That? I am a spirit, mind you! My name is Dralkin. I was sealed inside that cursed jewel of Asmatak for years because of those Bladebearers!" Del then remembered something: something that happened at the time when he was training as a Bladebearer. He had been practicing his sword moves in the Ministry of Bladebearers. All of a sudden, he heard the door open. He saw a person followed by a wagon with a cage that was clear enough so that you can see a red spirit. Confused, Del had asked, "What's that?" The man said, "That, my friend, is an evil spirit that we trapped in a cage. It's made of pure Multanian steel. No living entity can escape from it. Not even a spirit." Another man had walked in, carrying a red jewel. "All right, this jewel should do it." said the man that just entered. The wagon man said, "Perfect. Time to trap him in that jewel." Del could see the spirit knocking against the cage, pleading for mercy. "Please, no! I know the error of my ways now! Don't leave me in there for all time!" But, it was too late. The men had threw the jewel, which had passed through the cage like thin air. The wagon man smiled at Del, who looked confused, and said, "I said no living entity. That wasn't an entity." Del looked again and saw the spirit looked like it was being dragged towards the jewel by an invisible force. Then, his spiritual body was disappearing into the jewel. The jewel shook and made a loud thud, then stood still. Del returned from his flashback and said, "Now I remember you, Dralkin. You're the same spirit I saw those two men put inside the jewel of Asmatak." Dralkin then widened his eyes, then evilly grinned. "Why, I remember you too. You're the lowly brat that never tried to save me. Oh, I'll definitely enjoy this." Gastro, apparently now knowing what was going on, said, "Well, I don't think he's giving us gumdrops and ice cream, guys. Let's take him down before he makes a move!" He lunged forward, then jumped into the air, stabbing his blade into Dralkin's chest. "Ooh, ooh, the pain. It hurts." said Dralkin sarcastically. "I'm a spiritual body, I can't be hurt by a blade." He slammed his fist into Gastro and sent him flying! Del had taken a deep breath, then said, "Well, I'm not one to foolishly attack my opponent after knowing what will happen. So..." He raised his blade, closing his eyes, and concentrating. His blade was shining brightly and was shooting towards Dralkin! It pierced him in the chest and clutching his hand over his chest, he said, "Ow...ha. That actually hurt a bit. This will be fun." He held out his hand and emitted a red blast from it, blasting at Jack! Jack flipped sideways, landing on his feet with his hand on the ground, and dodged it. He looked at the pile of rubble the blast made, amazed. "So, I guess that's the power of an evil spirit, huh? All right, let's do this!" Powering up in his Super Bladebearer form, Jack shot a magic blast at Dralkin's pierced chest wound and made a direct hit! More hurt by this, Dralkin yelled in pain, "ARGH!! That's it. No holding back." Knowing what was coming, Jack gulped and said, "Uh-oh..." as a hand of Dralkin's slapped him into the wall. Dralkin shot two blasts at the group of pirates as they all scrambled to dodge the attack. Knowing that he can win, Dralkin laughed and exclaimed, "What fun!" Then, his smile faded. He felt a sharp pain throbbing though his back. He twitched once, then fell to reveal a hooded dark figure behind him. "Weakling." said the figure. Bart Gunshot stood up and said, "Nice work, Michael. Everything is going according to plan." Michael lowered his blade and said, "Yes, master." without even a chuckle. He stood there, not noticeably, but actually shaking. Jack looked at him. Something had changed about him, but he couldn'tquite put his finger on it...he thought he felt a sense of guilt from his brother emanating from him, but thought this was absurd. "Master, shall we put the last parts in the world core?" asked Michael. Evilly smiling, Bart replied, "Yes, Michael, please do." He stepped over to Michael, then said, "You have proved yourself worthy, servant. Now, I declare you Dark Master." With a faint, not meaningful smile, Michael replied, "Thank you, master." Bart held out his hand and made a rip in space again. He walked through it, beckoning Michael to follow. He nodded, then started walking. Jack yelled, "NO!!! YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY AGAIN!!" He jumped after his brother and pushed him through, knocking him off balance! Distracted, Bart forgot to close the portal and the crew jumped through after Jack! "It's over, Bart. This ends here." said Gastro. "This is destiny, not fate. We will defeat you, and bring balance to all worlds. We will bring back the community of Bladebearers." He pointed his blade at Bart. "We will win." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ FINALLY got around to a chapter. Hope you like it. |

Chapter 9: Beginning of a Deciding Battle
Bart laughed. "You? Face us? Don't make me laugh so much that I die." Gastro maintained a serious look. "It may not be likely that we win...but, it's worth a shot." Jack stepped next to Gastro. "I'm in." Del stepped on the other side of Gastro. "Perhaps you need a demonstration of the power that comes from working together." Mark stepped next to Jack. "For the sake of what you caused to happen to Jack last time, I'm not letting you get away again. Consider me a part of the battle." Jack Sparrow then said, "This should be interesting." as he stepped next to Mark. All of the Partners stepped in. William Goldwalker stepped beside Del, alongside Christopher Ironhawk, Lady Nayana, Alice Darkbane, Tim Rigmenace, Chloe Swordking, and Elizabeth. "And, I believe it's our job to remain as Partners: never backing down." said William. Bart merely smirked and backed into his own group of Dark Bladebearers. "Oh, well...if you're all really in such a hurry to die, you only had to ask." Jack, Mark, Del, Sparrow, and the Partners all pointed their blades at their adversaries. "Enough of your jokes, Bart! Let's end it right here and NOW!" said Jack. Jack jumped into the air, coming down with a hard swipe at Bart to be blocked. "Did you think it would be that easy, worm?" said Bart. He pushed back at Jack, but only made a struggle between them. "What's going on?! You're supposed to be a minor threat to me!" said the malicious frightened Bart. Jack grinned as he blocked in agony because of their struggle. "That...urgh...was before...I found...uhn...the hidden strength...ergh...inside me and my friends!!" He pushed against Bart, sending him flying into the wall! "W-What are you?..." said the mesmerized Bart. Jack said, "I am the light in worlds. I am the hero that saves the world time and time again. I am one of the chosen of the Bladebearers. I am the wall that stops darkness from breaking through into worlds. I owe it all to my dad for making me realize that." He raised his blade to bring it down and destroy Bart. Then, a blast hit him and he fell to the ground! "Sorry, brother, but family though we may be, the darkness is still my master. You don't stand a chance. I remember you always pitied me when we were young. Thought I was better than you. Well, guess what? You were right. You've only made your death imminent, brother." Jack stood back up and readied his stance. "Heh, I have to admit; I did pity you when we were young. I remember everything now. But, you don't Michael. The darkness clouds your mind. Makes you think the wrong way. But, you know what? I'm fine with you being better than me. It's choosing your allies and friends you need to work on." Jack jumped at his brother and struck his blade, struggling with his brother. Michael tried to tempt Jack. "What's the matter, brother? Do you feel pain? Anger? Or even jealousy?" Jack pushed against his brother. "I don't feel anything that might bring me closer to the darkness!" He kicked his brother into the wall. "You should have listened to our father, Michael. Do you remember his name?" Michael opened his mouth, but nothing came out. "Well? Do you?" said Jack. Frustrated, Michael replied, "No." Jack spoke the truth to Michael. "His name was Bruce Seaeagle. He tried to talk sense into you. But, I can feel your guilt, Michael. You know, you don't have to live in Bart's shadow. You don't have to keep taking orders from darkness." Michael, now holding his head in agony said, "NO!! I DON'T WANT ANYONE TRYING TO TALK ANYMORE SENSE INTO ME! I ALREADY TOLD YOU, I'M LOYAL TO DARKNESS!" Jack, actually feeling sorry for Michael said, "No. I know there's still a part of you left. Trapped and lost. But, you'll find your way. I know you're not any more loyal than you were the first time in the Pod Room." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ One of the men shot at Del and Sparrow. "Feel fear! Embrace it! Give into darkness and show your loyalty to Master Bart!" Del dodged the blast and shot one back. "Have a taste of your own medicine!" Sparrow jumped up and hit another man with his blade. "Mate, I advise you to give up. Wouldn't want you to die in a...tragic accident now, do we? "Gastro was facing off against one of the men like he was destined to do it...oh, wait a minute, he was. He swung his blade against the man to have it parried. The man slashed back to have Gastro block it and push back against the man to have him fall into the core. He whistled. "Hasta la vista, baby!" The battle was heating up. This is just getting started. |
