Guide to Fishing!

Guide to Fishing!

Ahoy mates! Ye all have heard the stories of new fish lurking about these Caribbean waters? If ye have, ye may have also heard of the great beasts of the sea. Not just an ole fish! I'm talking 'bout The Legendary Fish!

Well, most of you are familiar with the mini game called Fishing. Yes? Ok good, now onto the important stuff. Well, a couple months ago I created a thread about Legendary Fish. I was wondering if anyone had caught any, where to look, was it hard, who had screenshots? Stuff like that. Well, I kept trying and trying for at least one of the 5 Legendary Fish, and after a LONG time, I finally caught one.

So, I am going to make a (hopefully) helpful guide on how to catch these Legendary Fish. I think I have developed a great way to catch them. Over a 4 day period, I recorded which fish I caught, where, and how many. I saw 9 Legendary fish over that 4 day period and I was successful in catching 6 of them. I present to you my guide, and hopefully you have some luck!

Part 1: Access to the Legendary fish.

First off, to be able to fish for the Legendaries, you need to have three things:
a) A Fishing Boat
b) Mastered fishing
c) Legendary Lures

Part 2: Choosing your spot.

Now, I know that catching these fish are luck, but I do have 3 spots that I prefer when fishing.

a) Padres Del Fuego

b) Rocks in between the SvS Island

c) By Devil’s Anvil

Part 3: Casting and catching.

This is what I do when I cast my lure, and before I start the actual hunt for the fish. This part will take some patience, but pays off. Cast your lure as far as you can go, and drag it down all the way to the bottom. Once there, find your max depth. When you know your max depth, you need to catch ALL the fish that are NEAR your lure. This helps because once you get all these fish out of the way, you can let your lure drift back by itself, without worrying about having to avoid fish. I repeat, any fish that you can see from where your lure is sitting, CATCH.

Catch those ^^

Generally, if you have to catch more than 6 or 7 fish to clear out your space, pick a new spot, because it will take a long time.

Ok, so once you clear all those fish out, you should have your screen looking like this when you hit your max depth:

Now, if you have done all this right, you should end up with one of these:

**NOTE: I encountered Fire Dragon, but my computer froze so he got away before I had a chance of getting a screenshot OR trying to catch him.

**Another Note: :P By doing this, it has never taken me more than 10 minutes to catch a Legendary Fish after the drifting spot is all cleared out! Good luck!

Ok, hope you enjoyed my guide, and if you have any questions or comments, ask below!

Yours truly,
~ The Fishing Master. (Captain Sharktooth)
