The Navy/EITC Fleet is Sailing ....
It seems every day in the late afternoon we get some kind of a message like that. It sounds interesting and lucrative, but I'm not sure what it means or what I should do about it.
Is there a solid convoy of ships sailing from one port to another? Or does it just mean that the existing ships just have more cargo on them? Or does it mean something else? Crimson Rose |

When that message appears, check your map. There will be an added route that the fleet will be taking. From when the message appears, you have ten minutes to find a crew or captain your own ship (but be sure to have a big crew with plenty of high levels) and head out to where the route starts (near Kingshead, usually).
When the fleet eventually leaves the port, you'll see that there are lots of high level warships, and one very high level ship of the line in the middle. It's a good idea to take them on from far away, if you're captaining. They are very powerful, so you might want to go for a more crowded server. If you sink, chances are that the fleet will still be out there, as they have lots of health, so go back out there and get plundering! After the fleet is sunk, hopefully you have a lot in your cargo hold! It's always a good idea to dock immediately after the fleets are sunk, because you usually get a lot of lag depending on how many people are on that server. The fleet gives very good loot, plenty of gold. If you sunk the ship of the line, even better! I've even heard rumours of the fleet giving out a Lost Sword if you're lucky... |

Thanks, that's more informative. I went out in my ship when that message came on and sank some navy ships, but I didn't get anything extra. Now I understand.
