Release Notes - December 10, 2007 OPEN V1.0.1.34

• Fixed bug that was preventing some players from being able to play Blackjack or Poker
• You are now able to change your bid size in Blackjack
• Fixed bug with Voodoo Staff charging that was occurring in combination with the Spell Lore passive skill
• Several Lookout system fixes have been implemented to make the matchmaking feature more robust, including providing more feedback to the player as to what their chance is of finding a match
• You are now able to select a server before you get into the game - some GUI was moved around on the pirate selection screen in order to account for this new interface
• You will now be rewarded with some gold (at least) when digging up a treasure chest
• A quest icon has been added to the world map for the quest that is currently being tracked - clicking on this icon will take you to the Quest Journal entry for that quest

I had a substantial amount of gold added to one pirate, and none for my other. I hope they dont' fix that one, too LOL.

I love the option of being able to pick an ocean. Now I can go straight to a quiet ocean. Yay! But unfortunately it doesn't work

And they maxed my gold. I still get rep though.

I've tried to dig up the treasurechest, but it says " Nothing interesting here. " every time.

Guess we don't get extra gold after all.

I tried too, with the same results. I think maybe you have to have a quest that requires you to dig for something before it will work. Of course, the quest for Yellow Dan's earring is gone, so there's no such quest availabloe to those of us who've completed the story quest, that I know of, anyway. If someone else knows of another side quest that requires you to dig, I'd love to know about it.

Not only does the "choose your ocean" feature not work, the game seems to dump you into the first full ocean it can find, no matter what ocean you choose

I haven't tried digging with my big pirate, but with my baby pirate I get 6-10 gold everytime I dig. Reminds me of beta 1
