Cancel Account by eMail?

I want to cancel my account, but it's too late to use the phone. On my eMail, there was an area where you could terminate the account using the link. Will this eliminate my Unlimited Access subscription and/or will I be in any kind of trouble? I can cancel by phone, but it's currently too late....Please respond!

How will you be "in trouble?". I thought the only way to cancel was by phone.

I was thinking that if my account was cancelled by eMail by me, then they would think it's someone else cancelling, and deem it eMail fraud.

When PiratesOnline gives you a welcome eMail, they send the receiver a link that says "If you did not create a piratesonline account"....blah, blah, blah, and they provide a link for termination.

No idea. Everyone I've ever seen cancel it has had to cancel by phone.

'Kay...thanks. I sound a bit like a kid, so I was a afraid that they wouldn't take me seriously ^^;;

EDIT: I successfully terminated my account and ended the subscription thanks to a few blog entries saying that it worked ^^

What do they ask when u cancel it on the phone? do they ask for credit card info or anything?
