Help For A MacBook Pro user?

I am stuck in Barbossa's cave. I am being told to "right-click" to shoot the monkey. Mac laptops have mousepads, so there is not "right-click." I also tried the alternative of Control + click, which also hasn't helped. I have the "right-click" message on my screen which stays there even though I have shot the poor monkey countless times. My skill goes up, but the message stays there, and I can't get Barbossa to respond to me. I can't advance because I can't finish my Quest. Here is a pic of where I am stuck.
