100 Members! - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

Thats right! On this day, Tuesday, July 27th, 2010, at exactly 9:00 PM Eastern, Partners N Crime hit the 100 member mark!! A great way to top off Guild Recruitment Day, don't ya think?

We started out the day with 94 members - a modest number (just a modest number doesn't represent our great members

) Of course, our Officers, our volunteers, and, of course, myself, were bent on getting us to that Milestone of Membership. Over the course of Recruitment Day, we grabbed ourselves 5 new, fine members. And these new members were:

Thomas Hexsilver (the pasta hungry pirate known as Cannonfury here on POF)
Hector O'malley
Zelda Hawkfeather
Sir Edward (that cCcrRrRaAaAazZzyY fellow we know as Muffin Pirate here on POF)
Doomslayer

But by the time our Recruiting time ended, we were still at a taunting number of 99! (Oh, the irony!) We almost had to give up our hopes of getting 100 members today.... but then, a hero rose from the ashes, to help us reach our goal!

And so, in order to make this momentous recruitment (without the knowing of anybody else) I headed back to the very same spot I founded PNC over a year ago - the Tortuga Dock, Navermo. And thats the same spot, that tonight, made history all over again, when I appropiately guilded the pirate who was with the guild from its very beginning - Andres, baby pirate of none other than PNC's (and PIC's) Andrea Melissa!

I'd like to personally thank every person that has ever given us advice, help, or a simple "Good luck!" along our journey. Its been a long one - and I don't see it stopping any time soon!

But more importantly, I want to thank every single one of our great members. If there was any group of scallywags that could ever make an old pirate proud to wear a guild under his name, its gotta be you guys! I want to thank you, for walking along side us as our guild takes it journey - for supporting us, for helping us. And most importantly, thank you, each and every one of you, for being yourself, in your own, special way

But enough of the warm, fuzzy stuff! Its time to get back to where we belong - as pirates, and more importantly, as partners! To celebrate this occasion, on Friday, July 30th, I invite ALL PIRATES to come celebrate with us!

Hooray for this great achievement! I'm really glad this happened, guys - it's great to be in a guild like this

Well, that, and it also FEELS good to be in a guild as good as this.

Finally, we reached the number of 100! Many guilds have way more, although most of them are not active. Every day that I log on, there's always some happy Pirate online, ready to talk, help, or be helped in beating that enemy we call Darkhart. We have laughs, we have "OMZ" (oh my zebra) moments, and we have proud moments. This is one of our proud moments.

Partners N Crime is one of those great guilds out there. It is a true privilege to wear that tag under our names. I'd like to thank our wonderful Guildmaster, Delmaria Darkskull, for helping us all have a great experience throughout our pirating experiences. We rarely have to eject anyone, and if anyone leaves, it's on their own free will. Sometimes it happens. It's been a few years since PnC was founded, and it has always been a strong, friendly, helpful, caring guild. Every member is easy to be around, nobody is hard to deal with. If you are ever looking for a guild, this guild is for you.

I'd also like to thank the many officers in this miracle of the Caribbean. They are all friendly, fit for their positions, and know the rules well. In times of trouble, they're there to help. In times of need, they're there to help. This is yet another reason to join PnC if you're looking for a guild. No member is turned down if they want to join (and follow our rules, of course). We are a circle of friends that will continue to keep growing.

Also, the members of this guild make the time enjoyable.

Thanks to everyone for making this guild an amazing guild!
