New Xbox 360 slim and 360 kinect
At Microsofts confererence at E3 yesterday they announced the new Xbox 360 slim and the kinect. The slim 360 comes with a smaller power box, a 250 GB harddrive, free wifi, and is quieter than the models they have out now. The Kinect is basically a Wii with no controller using games redone to have no need for a controller. The Kinect is expected to go for $100 or less and the slim is going to sell for $300.

Microsoft invented a time machine and invented a Wii. I have been keeping track of E3 and from all the sites all of them have been very disappointed with Microsoft's Wii. The games shown are Wii Sports, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart. I was expecting more out of Microsoft. Sony is going to eat them alive.

Actually if it wasn't for Nintendo there wouldnt be a Sony and that means no Playstations and other stuff that Sony makes because wayyy back when Nintendo was one of the first game companys who were making Space Invaders and all the other classic arcade games Sony were part of the massive Nintendo and Nintendo being Nintendo broke the deal with Sony and they then made their own games and soooo if it wasn't for Nintendo Microsoft would be ALOT richer than they are now, so it just goes to show that you never know these game company's history.

When Nintendo's Wii came on the scene Microsoft and Sony dismissed motion control as a gimmick. Of course, with the Wii's phenomenal success they now both release their own (add-on) motion control systems.
Microsoft hasn't yet released pricing info for the Kinect, but if release lists are to be believed, a certain retailer puts it at 149.99. A few gaming websites are reporting (over)heating issues for the xbox360 slim. Ruh roh. |

If the article I read was true, it's kind of funny. Someone said that the other fix to the red ring of death was "the new Xbox 360 doesn’t have any red LED lights, just green." It also showed an image of a green "ring of death" with a red dot in the middle
