Set times for new EITC fleets?

Does anyone know if there are set times for the new EITC fleets on test? I've been trying for a week now with no luck to fight the fleet, and any time I get off, because I go to more important things, I always end up seeing pictures of an EITC an hour later, because someone was able to get to it.

Does anyone if there are set times for these fleets, or if there are times they usually go out? I'd like to see them without wasitng too much time on pirates.

When they hit live, they might be announced on the potco ******** page, like the invasions.

You're probably right, considering they didn't post times when the invasions were on test.

I'd just like to be able to test the fleets, as I heard there were a lot of issues with the fleets power and were way to hard when they first came out.

The last expedition fleet I battled on test was far too weak. Complaints about the early ones being too hard, were due to surprise and lack of tactics (learning curve.)

Well It might be just a random thing. They might just have it random set times like Invasions. But like ther if you watch when they go on and off you may be able to remember the times. Or they are always on and just where you were not when you are sailing Lol. But If they didnt give times on test they probely not going to give times on live ether ( I wish they would I just maxed cannon and want a challenge xD )

They had them on out on open a week ago. They might do it at the end of the week. It might start up again today or tomorrow.(Wednsday 3/10/10, or Thursday 3/11/10) After that they might just run it through the weekend. I dont know if they will though, because the GM's were a big part of the event last week. So yeah.

I think I remember reading that the fleet was to come to live on 3/10 or today but didnt see anything on start up screen

No, no. The fleet is out on open tomorrow. That's what it specifically said in the release notes. I think joere is thinking of the increased patrols.
Anyway, I think, like invasions, they will probably start on the hour, and not before noon western time. I have no idea how long they last, but I'm eager to see.
On a side note, Jolly and the EITC both have big events now, invasions and fleet events. It makes one wonder if the navy, or possibly Davy Jones might have anything in the future.

I'm really wondering wether or not these events will be permanent, like invasions on toontown, or only a bimonthly sort of thing every year.

The fleets looks epic, and invasions are fun, and taking them away would really stink in my opinion.

The Expedition Fleet comes to the Open/Live side on 3/11/2010 - tomorrow. I would expect them to appear randomly as they do on the Test side. When the Fleet sets sail you will get a pop up just like we do in the invasions. The difference is there is not a count-down. They are moving the moment it pops up. So man your ships right away and head out.

I agree that the Fleet on Test should not have been tamed down as there will be 3x the prirate ships coming after them on Live side.

Joere444 - you are referring to the GM EITC ship events from this weekend. That is not the same as the Expedition Fleet. Just so you know mate.

Edit: You guys posted faster than me. LOL - Evil, the fleet lasts until it is sunk or they move off the map and we lose. Events on test lasted anywhere from 10-20 mins on average.

Aye, as Captain Whale stated, there is no count-down like for the invasions. so when ya see the Fleet announced-check your map, set your course, & get sailing to do some EITC sinking!l

Aye, thank you Lizzy - I forgot about the map part. The fleet will launch from one the islands in the Caribbean (not the same one everytime). They also follow a different path each time so you must check your Compass/Map to see where they are going. When the event starts just head for the island the dotted line starts at. They will always leave the map in open water.
