Since the Bionicle fan base on this site has rised to at least 4 people I thought I would take a gamble on actually creating a topic for it.I have yet to start my collection of 2010 sets but I recenty recieved Kiina and Stonious,which I give both high marks.Here is the topic's offical poster for just the sake of it:For anyone that hasn't known much about the story go to www.Bioniclestory.com .May want to turn down volume if ye don't like frontpage vids though.

I loved it back when I was little, but I think that it went down hill after the 2008 story... Don't get me wrong there epic, but 8$ for only 18 pieces? Nu uh. It is still epic though XD. I have every one from the first year, the makuta, and the battle robot armor thing XD.

Yes,2009 was looking good at first....almost a new 2001 type thing but it was spread out and was at a loss much of the time.The prices had kept rising a little each year since 06,still the story is quite saveable given it will get a chance.If they could bring on a game like those old templar masterpices in the first years I think that could re-create the great adventure.One thing that was a blow as you said,at the end of 08 they destroyed the island of Mata Nui......it was sad.There are few interesting places left that aren't wastelands or we have good pictures of.If they get Sphereus Magna together again I think we may have a nice location once again.But now in 2010 we stare at Bionicle's demise,the replacement idea looks very mainstream and unoriginal much unlike Bionicle,its to be called 'Hero Factory' and it looks like Lego wishes to dump the old Bionicle fans once and for all......Bionicle had its own language jump-started by the morai's ,although Lego got sued because of it.Wheras Hero Factory sets have a big letter H stuck on there chest.....and the HF names.....William Blaze , Jimi Sringer ,Duncun Bulk , Xplode ,Von Nebula......the list keeps going too.....its mad.Bionicle has early names like Vakama, Tahu , Nuju ,Takua , Pohatu , Gali , Makuta , Bohrok ,Mata Nui , Matau ,Onua , Ta-Koro (fire village) , Tren Krom and Kalama Desert.Then the newer Bionicle names:Tridax , Krika , Dalu , Balta , Rediak , Avak , Chirox , Karda Nui ,Dekar ,Hydaxon, Brutaka ,Jaller , Destrel , Xia , Daxia , Artidax , Barraki , Pridak , Miserax , Tuma , Skrall , Kiina , Bara Magna , Inika , Marhi , The Shadowed One , Zaktan ,Valmai , Iruni,ect.But it was an expense to clear such name though legal....

Wait... There thinking of pulling it?!? NEVER! Even though I don't buy lots of them anymore they better not pull it. Thats one of the resons I evern have legos :P. Also I found out about the new ones for 2010. There beinging back old people and making them less pices :/. There is...

Tahu, Tankanuva, a paraka, a racshe ( I spelt that wrong! They were the ones that had the poison masks that come out of there backs ) And two from last year. Also each one comes with a piece of golden armor that will go on Tahu and make him look golden XD.

Aye,I really want Tahu myself,Takanuva is so so because he dosen't have the gold Avokii mask.But Tahu's gold Hau is something.....I never got Tahu originally or even a Hau (Which I consider one of the most sought-after masks to have),Anyway they are trying to close Bionicle but that 'successor' idea just looks so crazy.....I will have to get the pics.Bionicle must live.

Ooh I got the golden one XD. THe weird thing is that the first Tankanuva came also with a clear one of his mask. I never undestood why XD. I also have the mega 3 foot all tankanuve from last year 0_0. It is just plaine weird. I rememberd when the first movie came out XD. I kept watching it for days on end...

Aye ,Mask of Light was good!Although that new Bionicle movie floped......toanuju22 and I made a review topic for it.I think some of the things in the very first four years were the greatest.....Original Toa and Rahi all the way to 2004 and the City of Legends itsself,Metru Nui.Well here are some pics of the possible 'replacement':I don't mind the new piece colors but there seems to be very little mocing (custom building out of pieces ) and from the descriptions Ive read 13-16 and the odd adult that actually used to have Bionicle may not find an original story or building ability from these....The sets don't look BAD but they didn't just make this a place in the Bionicle universe....Keep in mind these are smaller sized can sets....Well anyway I have a 2010 Bionicle pic too:Its been this style since 'Mata Nui Rising' vid but I can't get enough of the artwork.....

Cool Dockwrecker! I have some bionicles from a few years ago. Kinda outgrew them to be honest. The most recent I have is tarix which is pretty cool.

Thanks for posting Will,Bionicle was quite good a time ago,theres a little to be found now,well I decided to make a monthly or so highlight for the story,old media ,ect.There is a neet short story that came out over the coarse of 2009,one of 09's best really.Here is the link,I recomend it to all the old fans who may have pondered many times about the mystery of the Red Star and the ones who sent Mata Nui,also to those who just may like an interestingly done writing. Its entitled Riddle of the Great Beings,which was originaly lauched as the author's podcast. http://www.Bionicle.**********/wiki/R...e_Great_Beings The setting is in the 'new' Bionicle location of Bara Magna,mostly a sparsely inhabited wasteland....but once ago...it was a paradise. enjoy
