posting images
um... I'm having trouble adding images to my posts. I think I already know what to to, but when I press the insert image button, and paste the adress into it, it just shows up as
What I need is something to explain why it's not working and a way to do it right. I don't think it has anything to do with hosting the image. The image I want is in the gallery. I will greatly appreciate any help, thanks!

Greetings
Is the example given an attempt at posting an image? If so the url is corrupted, it would appear to me that you have the syntax of the img tags correct otherwise. It is possible that the url you are using may not be from an approved host, and may be getting censored out of your post. A list of approved hosts can be found here: POF Approved Image Hosts An image hosted elsewheres may be getting censored and causing the problem. Hopefully that will help you get on track. I used an approved host, and I copied and pasted the url. I did everything properly, but it still doesn't work.

Going to interject. Are you using the direct link to the image, or the link to the page the image is on? I know many a time I've been known to go to the page that the image is on and copy the URL in the address bar rather than the direct link to the image, and that would cause the image not to load.
Many approved hosting sites should have an area with links to the image, such as in our gallery. You want the link that says "Direct Link:" before it, or something similar. If you continue to have problems, maybe provide us with a link to the image or something of the sort to further troubleshoot your problem.

I followed Zeps rules and doing pretty well now at posting images.
Steps: 1. Upload photo to member gallaries  2. Copy Img HTTP link 3. Go the post where you would like to post your image 4. Paste link that you copied from your gallary 5. Press post reply and it works!!!!
