Would you go to the UK?

Tried this earlier didn't seem to go through. As a hypothetical question, and there were no hang-ups to do so, would you go to UK potco?

With distinguishing marks, scars, customize ships, use of items to craft unique curses, darts, trade treasures to other pirates.

Here we have had downgrades and months of nothing happening, would you stick it out here. Hoping for some of these things also to come here when Uk comes out?

I expect they'll put the updates here if they do in the UK. I'm not going to resort to using a foreginh game. I'd rather go back to WOW.

The logistics of location location location would make me remain here.

Even if the game were 'improved' and 'had more' on the UK Potco side, the lag would likely be unbearable with all that going on.

The idea is sound.. but in reality it just wouldnt make sense.

Being in games for such a long time, this isn't the first time I have seen things going down hill.
One left the US one time and ended up in Russia, I went there for a little while. Would of been a mess if I hadn't known most things, everything was in Russian, and no clue what was being said, lol.

I would think things would hit here when it hits there, but yet there are a number of variables here not intertwined in a new game.

Nobody there would be aware if all damage was cut in half. Nobody is previously going to have skipped combos. Several things ongoing here like this that would be no issue on a new game.

The same. I don't really have a choice here. I'm stuck here with this version. If it were possible I would think about it.

Well seeing as people think there's a big update yet to come and they are taking their time, with the UK POTCO to be releasing customizable ships etc (so ive heard) then it makes sense that they would do this as it comes out in the US version too (and launch the updates together - better advertising). I'm happy with the US version and i'm from the UK myself (but wish i could access DXD over here). It all depends whether the UK version suits me more by having dxd for me and easier payment methods, but also depends how they plan to merge games and whether it requires new pirates, servers and accounts. I won't be switching to the UK version if it means starting new pirates, i've worked too hard and made too many friends with the US version to suddenly switch and find they will be in no way merged somehow.

You're confusing me really.

Just like on toontown the UK and US server will be the same one.
The only thing different will be the sites you log on from.

If anything new happens to the UK "server" you can say it's happened for both of us at the same time...
When the UK is ready to have a POTCO they'll have a site.(the one in your post) Then logging in on POTCO from that site they'll be going to the US and UK server. You could say the server is made for both the UK and US.

Sorry I guess being on a game that has the UK and US server "together" just seems easier to me.(and obviously to toontown.) I think POTCO will be doing the same. Why they decided to put false information on the site is beyond me but if anything does happen on teh US "server" it will happen on the UK "server" as well.

But toontown does have a Japan server.(I believe) So they have to wait a year or so before they get things we already have.

Well its like I said at the start a hypothetical question.

With the loads of information we get from Disney, I don't think anyone knows what is really going to happen.

Servers have been removed though, and couldn't get to several of the GM's because they were on some of those servers that had been removed.

This could lead to a couple possabilities one is that they are using these to set up a differant server for Uk.

Who knows.

EDIT: Drat, cool peppy got it before me. There would be no reason to make a POTCO just for the UK. It would be a waste of money when they could just have a site that logs into the POTCO US.(Then it would be POTCO US and UK.

Well, if nothing goes on in this game, then heck yeah I would run to the UK to play the game. I haven't really played in a few weeks now, other than going to that feast. Everyone I was friends with are no longer around, and quite frankly it makes for a boring game to me. I try to help anyone who asks and then when I am not helping I seek pirates sailing on Public and go to the lowest ship on the list to help them level up. One guy, Tiny as I recall was the Pirate's name, was so shocked at me wanting to help him that he told me he was a fully mastered pirate and decided to level another one, and he appreciated my kindness and help. Heck if anyone wants my help I would be more than happy and willing to give my services for free, hehe.

I have joined or should I say am trying the free trial version of WoW, I actually do like it, but not sure yet if my time would allow me to play that game, it seems so involved. Well, anyway, like I said, if Potco doesn't add more of everything, then I will probably just let my subscription ride till the end of July, so if anyone wants me, just come calling!

I expect all that will happen is that some people will log in to the UK site just like Toontown. Two separate websites but we play the same game. Doubt if anything will change. I'm in the UK but will be continuing to play from the US site, makes no odds to me. The only thing i'd like to see is the pirates section on the UKDXD site as we've only got toontown on there at the moment so cant access all the pirate info that you can, otherwise i'm happy

If updates are released in the UK...and they are successful in bringing in new peeps and keeping the old ..Disney is smart enough to then bring them to the US. Maybe, if this is a plan that becomes reality...it would be like a test server...Disney is a corporation...they do and think things only for profit.

Somehow I can't see Disney giving UK players a server to it's self. They will no doubt do the same as they have with Toontown.

Didnt know they did this with Toontown, now that I do, I agree.

In this case, it seems like it would be harder to get your account/billing setup on the UK logon site than it would be the US site. This is probably why they have two separate logon sites going to the same servers (for toontown).
