First skill I will remove on voodoo staff
The first skill I will remove on voodoo staff is that one point on Soul Flay that is given to you at the start, even though you don't want it.
That skill point has killed me at least 5 times on the Black Pearl. I WANTED WITHER! I PRESET WITHER! Ahhhhhhhh....splat. So, what about you? For voodoo staff, what is on your hit list? (Not a poll, as I want to hear the reasons why, for each.) |

Well I use soul flay, more fun on low levels than just zap gone.
I will reduce however everything to 1 point save wither keeping it bumped up. My first point to remove from staff will be Desolation... now THEREs a waste unless you just want the 'looks cool' factor, cool isnt a look.. so I wont worry about it. BTW, I always hit F6 and the 3 the second my pirate materializes on the deck of the pearl.

Lv40 - Iam Rackat - Rebuild for SvS
Staff: Desolation - remove the skill point. What a waste. Wither - will have 5 points All other attacks will be at 1 Passives will be maxed. Doll: Max passives Increase Attune to 4 Increase Heal points Cutlass: Max passives others are ok the way they are. Dager: Max passives Pistol: Meh, don't care. Max passives and see what I have left Grenades: See "Pistol" Sailing: Max passives, Broadsides and Ramming Speed - SvS Will look at the other skills and decide at the time Cannon: Max Passives Max Fury Will look at others and decide lv40 - Francis Seahawk - Probably won't change much except Staff and Doll. lv35 - James Buffitt - still time to make him the way I want. Will adjust if needed. |

Rackat: For sailing, how will you allocate 40 points? Did I read what you have there, wrong?
Pistol. Interesting. I'll max passives and shoot. Four in round shot, 1 point in hex eater, one in take aim. Other people may want round shot at 1, steel shot at 3. But pistol could be a different thread, perhaps. |

I may edit a few points with Dodger: he's the only one who's been invested in with points. I'd decided to test the skills first with Dog Swordflint. Everything gets two points, unless it obviously doesn't need testing, like that last Dagger passive. I can imagine that bonus easily enough, etc.
And I don't think we'll be able to remove starting points. If we do, it'll be a problem. |

I already see some not so good ideas. 4 points count the same as five points in some skills, so its a waste to put more than 4. Doing a build here in last month I have seen cannon not stacking up properly, though may be just my character. Really makes ya wonder what will happen changing things like this. With some of this stuff based off level, how will you know you got the right stats back?

re: Staff redistribution
So i'm lookin' at my staff specs via DxD and i see i have 5 points in the Combat skill blast.
can someone tell me what the heck blast does and do i really need 5 points in it? I have 3 in Concentration, Spirit lore and Spirit Mastery but 0 in Conservation...so i'd love to move 3 into Conservation. Then i'll take 1 from whither, currently at 4, and max out Flaming Skull, currently at 4. i'll keep 1 point in Desolation only because i am hoping that they eventually reduce the damage it does to you. I'm hoping they do that when they introduce the new Boss enemies. |

I'm good on staff i maxed flaming skull and wither i don't have desolation yet but i'll just put 1 point on it i want all moves for all weapons. I REALLY want to redo doll though. I can't believe i maxed scorch. I'll rearrange a few on cutlass to have max blade storm and thats about it.
