The easiest is to find is the flagship corvette which always spawn off Kingshead
then it will sail to Outcast. First check Outcast if it's not there then follow its trail to Cutthroat and Kingshead.

This quest was a killer...
Thankfully I found a nice little spawn spot between Tortuga and Ile D'Etable de Porc. I believe there are 2 'vette spawns near here, and if these fail, between Tortuga and Rumrunners usually harbors one or two. My Guild members have all used these spots, as well, and agree with me that they're two of the better spots for 'vettes. And they aren't even flagships! :P |

Plus I've found the new quest feature highlights the ships you need at sea with a lightbeam. Click on "covette lore" in your quest and make sure the yellow askerisk is "on"... you'll get beams of light from heaven shining down on hapless corvettes waiting to be sunk.
The only irritating thing is the ship is almost completely obscured by the lightbeam and appears as a yellow asterisk in your radar. Show I turn the asterisk off once I'm close enough to see the ship on my own. |

I had a different quest for corvettes the other day, and the beams of light directed me to sea vipers and sentinals. I sunk them, and it counted!?!
It was then that my head started to swim.....

Ive noticed that the game now points with the ray of light to the closest ship that meets any of your quest task lists. Looks cool when sinking one, and then the ray of light points to the water for several seconds even after the ship is long gone/sunk.
