Unhappy Please help, Can't play POTCO :(

Whenever i attempt to play the game i receive a message saying "Your internet connection to server has been unexpectedly broken". I log in and everything fine, and pick my character. Then after picking the character, the loading bar reaches 55% and then just stays there for a min or two before i get the message. The funny thing is, when i get the message, i can still walk around, and i know that because i see myself move on the compass on the top right corner. I know it's not my internet connection because my brother who plays POTCO on a laptop isn't experiencing any problems, its only not working on my desktop . It worked perfectly fine before, so i really don't know what the problem is. IF anyone can help, please feel free to leave comments and suggestions. Thank you.

Don't worry. One of the main problems in Online Virtual Worlds like Toon Town, Pirates and Club Penguin is the Over Crowding of a Particular server. This leads to problems in-game and your Internet Connection gets eventually disconnected.
Try to go to a Less Crowded server once. Try playing in the Laptop if this problem continues. POTCO is a game which loads for I hour straight in my computer.
Try contacting the Technical Support Staff for more help.

It worked on your desktop before but suddenly, its acting up. Simple question: Have you done all possible system cleanups of your desktop and browser?

Tech support will see your log files and determine where the problem lies. But they can't tell whether you have cleaned it up or not. They'll know the latest drivers and upgrades that were made on your hardware/ software. Contact Live Chat. Must use Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari for that.

Explain exactly the problem as best you can. Tech support will direct you to submit a log and how if you don't know. We might do it here of course which is the point of your post. PM if you like.

I cleaned up my desktop and my browsers like you said, still same problem. So basically this is what happens. I log in on my account perfectly fine, and I am able to chose the server to log on to and pick my character. I then go and choose my character and press play, it redirects me to a loading screen as it should. However, EVERY time the loading bar reaches 55%, it stays there for a minute or two and then i get a message window saying "Your connection to server has been unexpectedly broken" and then i press "ok" and it takes me back to my desktop with the POTCO login screen open. :/

Sounds like to me your encountering a problem I myself had a long time ago. Every time the bar got to about the halfway point in loading the next screen, it would always end up booting me out. Strangely enough, it might be the signal is acting up. Mine did for a long time before it crashed (desktop, I mean) and I ended up getting myself a laptop. Try seeing if the signal for the game is cooperating with you. Think that might be a possible cause. Also, it would also work fine for me till that point. Hope this helps!!!!!

Also forgot to mention.... if you have too much history loaded in your browser, it won't function properly. Check into that if you can.

Thanks for all your advice guys, but unfortunately none of them worked However, after going through alot of game files i came upon this:
":03-31-2012 2331 :downloader: Lost connection to gameserver.piratesonline.com:7667 (-1).
:03-31-2012 2331 :downloader(warning): OpenSSL error code: 5
:03-31-2012 2331 :downloader(warning): Windows error code: 10054
########## stopReaderPollTask Pirate
:03-31-2012 2331 PiratesClientRepository(warning): Lost connection to gameserver."

Hopefully this explains my problem, and someone knows how to fix it. Thanks mates!
