having issues with pearl boss fight loading

Has anyone else had this happen lately? I keep trying to go to the boss battle and out of 10 tries 8 of them have resulted in my screen going black and the boss battle not loading... anyone have any knowledge of what i am doing wrong?

I have had this problem too, and I think it relates to how many people you have going into the boss battle. The more people you have, the more likely it is to bug up. I have noticed that it happens most frequently when you have more than six players doing the battle. If you have six or less it usually shall work, but it is only going to go as fast as the players' computers can load it, so if a player is playing with a very slow computer it could take a while, or so I believe.

Try having less players and see if that works. It usually does for me.

This bug happened to me and my guildies when trying to help one of them complete the Boss Battle. This bug was most likely brough in by the Ship Customization and Upgrades Update. In Disney's first 2012 Test Release Note, it notes the fix for the Black Pearl Boss Battle Bug. My advice is to steer clear of the BPBB until the Fix goes live.
