don't know, but i saw a staff in the beta, OMG.. i want one, he waltzed into Kingshead and killed everything!!

not voodo level main level. u have to be level 30 to get staff and the task will appear in your journal.

It isn't a matter of one or the other, you need BOTH to become a massive spell caster in this game. Each adds more voodoo per level and they can both do things the other can't which makes the need to use them both a reality.

For example, the staff cannot heal anyone, but it does have skills for recovering voodoo faster and using less voodoo per cast on both doll and staff so it helps both.

Want to rule the caribbean with voodoo? Power up that doll as high as you can and get the staff and work it.
