Thank You Speech

I really don’t even know where to begin… I guess I could start off by expressing how grateful I am for this. I don’t think it’s possible to express my gratitude to each and every one of you. I never in a million years would have guessed that I would (figuratively) be standing here today being given this honor. 3 years ago, a mere basic, low-level, grey tagged pirate was walking in old PR (those were the days, aye?) and got an invite to a guild called Partners In Crime by a pirate named Norries Savviness. I wish now, that the same pirate, being me, could have seen into the future and saw what would unfold all because of a simple guild invite. Even though we’ve been through a lot, were still here and going strong. I feel honored to be in a guild with an excellent guild master, who doesn’t give himself enough credit and whom we all can’t thank enough, my fellow CoGM, with whom I look forward to serving with, the veterans, senior officer, and officers, you guys are really great, and last but not least, everybody else! You guys are the ones that make this whole thing worth while, the ones who stick by us no matter what. As you can see, i’m not good with coming up with clever speeches and stuff like Del and others, but I did my best. The rest of my speech will go along with the screen shots

After seeing this screen shot, i was speechless. I would like to thank Del for saying what he did in the second, third, and fourth chat entries. Even though, besides Andrew, I am the oldest guildie (when i comes to time in the guild- PIC included) i could never have taken on the responsibilty of Guildmaster. You do a better job than i would have ever done.

yay for clap spam! lol. im going to try to give you guys a mental picture of what my reaction would have been during all of this had i been there. *Liz tears up, tackle hugs Del and everybody else, then cant talk for my happy crying..sort of like a reaction of a winner of Idol (if you even get that refrence).*

Honorary Partner, too? It makes me feel good that you guys respect me enough for this too. I definitely think that you guys would be exactly where you are today, with out me. I have no doubt whatsoever.

So i guess what im trying to say in this incredibly long speech is that i am humbly grateful for everything, and each and everyone of you. I am so greatful to be apart of the best guild in the Caribbean, even though you guys are like all one big family to me. Thank you.

You deserve every respect of your promotion, Liz. Don't think for a minute things wouldn't be different without you. A PNC without Lizzo is like a family without it's mother. You've been here in the best of times, and the worst of times - you're truly an inspiration to all of us, no matter what you think of yourself.
