u know those first 2 bats u see on way to mine shaft (dont go up it) go to those bats and u will find the cave

On the path towards the elevator shaft there is a path that goes off to the right side where bats are. The path is near where the large crashed ship is on the beach. That is where the trap door is, just found it myself thanks to this thread!
