Live Chat questions about Strongest Guild Competition

I got on live chat just now and asked some questions about the competition...for those of you who were not sure if the enemies in tormenta count or not...they do count cause they are skeletons. Since I already knew the answer to that question I didn't ask it.

cannonfury: also...can one guild win 2 or all 3 categories or it can only be one guild per, even if they do get the most

Karmel: As of right now there will be an announcement only at the end of the competition

Karmel: And the 3 categories are Skeletons, EITC/Navy Soldiers and Ships

cannonfury: ok cool one more thing..does afk sailing count? when u sail and u have a crew and they afk

cannonfury: do their numbers count

Karmel: That'll be a very difficult task considering some guilds will be concentrating on one categor

cannonfury: yeah

Karmel: If they AFK that will diminish your bonus

cannonfury: oh the rep?

Karmel: yes

cannonfury: but how about the ship count for enemies

cannonfury: do they get it counted for them

Karmel: if they're on the ship and they AFK they will not be rewarded for whatever happend while they were in that state

Karmel: once they revive they can continue receiving their rep

I think what they meant is, AFK people do not receive credit. Those that are actually earning their stats, they receive the credit. That's how it should of always been in my opinion.. don't get why someone not even playing should get better stats for doing absolutely nothing.

As for the chat, you did kind of ask a lot without letting her respond first.. Trying one question at a time may of worked, instead of "also..", "also..".

Hmm works for me its going to be tough for other guilds to pass the tough ones.

Crew members have received sink credits in the past, even if they are AFK - meaning that 1 pirate can captain a shipful of AFK'er and they would ALL get credit, so the GUILD would then get multiple credits for one guy's work. Seems wrong, but it was happening.

Now, what steps are they taking?

Do you have to actually SHOOT from a cannon for it to count? If so, having a boatload of guys firing for numbers means each would have to shoot EACH target so you get the multiple hits.

Every time I have contacted Technical Support for a Technical Support question, they have been prompt and swift and correct in their guidance. I have used them exactly twice in the past year and a half. Just sayin'
