Green sea water and green hair!!!

Yep it just hit the game about 11 min ago!!! and it is very green.

"The caribbean seas have turned a strange green color. Legend tells us this is an omen, that a large creature is headed toward these waters."
It says that when you log in, Could this be the kraken?

I'm not holding out hope that it is anything more than a St. Patrick's day occurrence. That way if it is more I will be pleasantly shocked and surprised.

I'd be surprised if the Kraken would appear that soon. Something like that would have been out on the test server first.

This Shamus is a new GM I believe - maybe he will know something. They've said the Kraken is coming for a while - I think the color just hints to the fact that he's still on the way... of course it is happening on Friday the 13th! Coincidence???

I totally agree - something that big they would test - especially considering how open they've been about updates and what they're working on. This is a change for the holiday the next new thing will be a new Padres.

As previously stated, if this is indeed a large sea creature....wouldn't we have seen something on Test? I'd hate to see some major update skip Test entirely.....
