Agh! My pirate looks like she is anorexic!!
Okay.. my pirate was really pretty before.. now she looks all scary skinny and her face looks thin!
BEFORE UPDATES: This Pic gives a relative body type.. nice and shapely.. As does this one.. her look was a little tougher in those days lol but you get the body shape http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...1&d=1235593768 Mod note: Missing attachment This is a nice close up of how her facial features were.. very pretty and full! AFTER UPDATES ![]() Look at her stomach and her arms! They look so thin and funny looking! And her face is so thin now.. the picture above is prettier i thought.. I miss the way pirate looked ......

I can definitely see the difference. Kind of afraid to see what this update has done to my poor Adelie. Were the male avatars affected in any way? I won't be able to get in game until tonight to check. I have Sven on Test but i couldn't tell before the update went live because I didn't really try too hard to replicate my exact body type with that one.

Holy cow, that's insane. My pirate is looking pretty gaunt too. And my hair is now blondish, when it is SUPPOSED to be brown. Lots of weird graphic stuff. *applauds Disney on a job well done*

I definitely don't like it either (see complaints here).
They have moved the belt lower now so the cinched waist is not quite as exaggerated, but everything else is still broken (IMO). I want the old bodies, clothes, skin, and hair back. |

My pirates physical shape changes depending on the resolution setting I choose. After the updates I had to redo my resolution settings. Are your settings the same as they were before?

It could be the clothes or resolution they are using or maybe you need to start eating more of that fest ham!

The only difference on my pirate I saw, was that my gray hair is now white instead of black. Dunno why it has never been gray...but I kinda like the white hair better.
Lucinda now looks wrong, in many ways, regardless of my graphics settings. Everything that was rounded nicely before is now sharply triangular. Yes, even her eyes. |

Now I realize this probably isn't such a touchy issue for guys (not saying it's not, just not as much), but girls are constantly bombarded with a false "ideal". Disney taking female bodies that, IMO, looked normal(ish; I didn't particularly love the "profile"...), and shaving them down is a pretty awful thing, really.
Even if the changes were motivated by simplifying the character models to decrease lag, it's still very wrong, IMO, to make them thinner like that. |

Okay so we have to assume their are more men on the POTCO crewvthan women.. because I would have to guess that the women would never go for this ... This is almost as bad as all those thin models out there! Now I feel like i have to go on a diet lol..
*wait does dieting involve giving up rum =O ? Not sure i could do that..! hehe* |

Hopefully these graphic issues will be corrected along with a plethora of other "lovely" issues.......

I wonder why they didn't make an option allowing us to choose the look. (i.e. From low to high, old being high graphics.) |

Well, all I know is that you're a lovely and handsome (ladies and gentlemen, respectively) group of pirates regardless. Heh... well, anyway, I haven't seen the effect on the one female pirate I made, though Timothy Dartan still looks rather well (or, at the least, still the same, which still accounts for an extremely small waist and toothpick legs), which is good I guess for my other two pirates with the same body type. Dog has the bulky build, of whom I have yet to see.
