Disappointment
I was looting on my new pirate and decided to catch a public ship. We went after QAR and got a skull chest from it. When we ported, I noticed something that happens a lot, internet disconnection.
Well, when the game loaded up, I was disconnected from the game, and under the skull chest loot, was a Makeshift Cannon Ram. I always figured that I would miss out on good loot because of my internet disconnecting, and now it actually happened. I know nothing can be done, but still annoys me. |

Man. Well, you do know, you could ask live chat. I mean, I know it sounds bad, but I think they could help you. Just a suggestion though..

Maybe, but i'm not sure if they would believe it. It has actually happened to a friend of mine, losing a famed because of disconnection, and it was a Vice Admirals Cutlass. I'll see if he did anything like that.
Thing that annoys me the most about it, it would have been my first famed on that pirate, and my first famed ram ever. |

I'm sure they'd do it. They can check you logs or whatever and give you whatever you lost. I've heard it been done before.

At least you know what you got. 90% of the time I get skull from sailing, when we port, we get nothing. No gold, no loot, nada.

This has been my experience with the porting boot. This is a relatively new bug and needs to be fixed right away. I encourage all pirates to complete a bug report every time. Hopefully the volume of complaints will get this addressed quickly.

I'm so sorry this happened. I've had this plenty of times, especially when docking at Padres. I once had two skull chests and missed out on them both! I really hope Disney fixes this.

I feel your pain..... it is frustrating. Talking to support wouldn't hurt.....

Talk to POTCO support or I can tell you what they will say....
- It must be that your internet connection is weak or poor. - Your computer doesn't have the requirements that the game needs. - You need to lower the game settings. - All of the above. I promise you that it will be your fault that you get Disco! |

Although they may try to put blame on the end user (in many cases) it doesn't mean they aren't aware of the true issues at hand. I believe you must call and submit issues every single time they occur.
The calls and submissions via email, in game and chat must be logged. They should be working to fix the biggest glitches first (one would think). I couldn't imagine a major update getting released with the current server issues.... unless the update includes some fixes. Don't shrug off issues.... they all need to be known. Submit.... Submit..... Submit.

It's the second battle. You have your famed, now you must defeat disney's extremely lousy server connection in order to secure it.
