BBcode is the coding that allows you to type in
bold,
italics,
underline, and other things in posts. To post an image in a thread, you will want to first upload it to an approved hosting site or the gallery on here, then use the direct link with this BBCode.

http://replacewithyourdirectlink/ [/img] (without the spaces between the tags and the link.)
If you simply want to post a link to an image, you would still upload the image to the gallery or an approved hosting site, only you would post the direct link without the [img] tags.
