Those bugs are called Terrain Holes or Boundry Holes. Sometimes you can find them at corners of buildings or where terrain features meet. Like a boulder next to a hillside...where they converge can be a Terrain Hole.
Those are the kind of bugs that the Devs love to be reported. They are game-stopping bugs. When you have to relog to play again, then it is considered a serious bug. Same as getting stuck bugs. And crashing bugs, etc.
When I fall through the terrain, I always use the Shift-F1 to show my poisiton...take a screenshot...and go back to try to replicate the bug. Either if I can or cannot, I issue a bug report and note if it is repeatible.
While I am here to play and have fun, I am mostly here to test. A lot of times, the best bugs are found by the Devs reviewing the players' normal game play. I try to go the extra distance and file bug reports.
Also, the Crash bug report page, which is located in the PiratesOnline folder on your hard drive (
Disney Online\PiratesOnline\bugreport.html) only allows you to copy 1 screenshot per submission and has the log files attached. I tend to use the Expanded Bug Report website (
https://apps.pirates.go.com/pirates/support/feedback) which allows 3 screenshots and no log files...or the Contact Us website (
http://apps.disneyblast.go.com/cgi-b...sbeta/form.tpl) which allows 2 screenshots and no logs. I would NOT SUGGEST you filing the same bug on all 3 websites...this will just get the Devs mad at you and probably ignore your bug/complaints. Pick one that best suits what you need to report and use it. I have had to use the Extended Bug Report the other night to send 3 screenshots of different graphical setting and their results.
Yes, I am just another Pirate...no, I am not a Landlubber! -)
