Why can't you just take the swearing part out and everyone can play? I just really like this game and I don't want my mom to look at it and say I can't play because a few people want to use language all the time...I have fun and I don't want to quit just yet.

I have zero interest in using profanity in the game. If I want to swear, I express it verbally or via inner monologue in the privacy of my home. No harm done. I don’t think the option of being able to type profanity should ever be considered as it is completely unnecessary in my opinion. Yes there are subjective things in the game however a line must be drawn at some point.
This is about not being able to carry on a normal conversation about daily events, favorite movie lines, etc. Whatever the topic might be it is extremely difficult to communicate the way the chat interface is currently setup. It is quite aggravating when someone has no clue what you are saying because they missed what you typed somewhere in the conversation. It doesn’t always tell you what was blocked. Sometimes I see what I typed but nobody else does. Other times I don’t see it and assume nobody else did. This can create some frustrating situations in chat sessions. It would be nice if there were other options available. I enjoy this game very much and will deal with the bugs and restrictions with the anticipation that improvements will be made. Feedback does make a difference.
