Most useful is Flaming Skull - I won't play with my Beardies without it.
Aside from the "wow factor", Desolation is useless...one of the worst things you have to work to get (getting handed a crummy attack as a baby isn't so bad, IMO - leveling for ages just to get
that thing though...ugh).
