Ahoy and greetings all you landlubbers!
Iff'n ye canna be a'sailing with the ugliest scurvy dogs and wenches of the Seven Seas, perhaps ye could be seekin' landlocked treasure caches??!!!
(OOC) Geocaching is a great pasttime for people of all ages. Families, couples, kids, stodgy old men like me...er...elderly gentlemen and gentlewomen, basically everyone. You will need a piece of electronic equipment...a hand-held GPS.
Go to
www.geocaching.org and register at the site. You can enter in the name of the city in which you reside or where you plan to vacation. You will get a list of 'geocaches' in that area with general clues on how to find it.
The 'rules' of geocaching basically boils down to: have fun, explore, observe, learn, teach, and if you take something from the cache then you have to replace something in return.
Since I don't know the exact location that POTCO is being produced,
I can only surmise that it is either Anaheim, CA (
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/neare...=92802&x=7&y=7)
or DisneyWorld Complex in Orlando, FL (
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/neare...32226&x=5&y=11)
I provide these so the POTCO can take some time off and try geocaching themselves. To help kindle that 'hidden treasure' feeling that we all have!
