I want an all-out sailing quest. This'd be the way it'd work:
Elizabeth gets word of her dad. You're to take your best ship out. Once you take it out for the quest, it becomes unsellable, and it becomes the only ship that will actually reward the objectives for your quest. You're to go around seeking out the answers to the rumors. This requires that you sink certain types of ships and search out certain people, as well as making a little escapade into Kingshead to "inquire" there.
When you're done, for the sake of the game being kept shallowed, you rescue her dad but he doesn't get to see Elizabeth, so other people and you can do it again. Meanwhile, the name of your ship has become so notorious that you are require to change various aspects of it.
And voila! A quest for ship customization.
