Heh, your statement doesn't make much sense. You're saying that half of the time, the team who wins the WS doesn't make it to the playoffs. If you don't make the playoffs how do you win the WS, let alone play in it?
Anyway, go Angels! I was there in 2002 and hope to go to another playoff game this year. And I mean, come on, lay off the name. Everyone knows it's all about business and marketing. I'd like for them to go back to the California Angels name, but oh well.
