Makes ya wonder what's next. Gunner wants only a couple bottles of rum? John Smith wants only one rock crab for lunch? Officers and veterans removed from Kingshead for grenades quest? June Greer wants only one chicken? Giladoga needs only one key? Make the dig spot in Perdida visible one step away from the tunnel entrance? Make level 40 Urchinfists throw visible grenades instead of their "mystery attacks?" Instead of lvl 37 officers, we gonna have veterans on the colossus flag ship now? The Goliath gonna to start firing firebrand instead of explosive?
All those clever, difficult things that we love to complain about, are what makes the game fun. The great equalizer has always been that everyone has had to go through essentially the same amount of grief to get to any given point. Adding more things to make the game NOT have that equality, detracts from the game itself.
PvP and SvS need "everyone with same weapons and skills" options. If that hurts POTCO's sacred sense of inequity, they put them on separate servers and let game players decide which type of PvP/SvS they want to play.
But do stop sugar-coating the parts that were fun, mainly because they were hard.
