After playing with the problem virtually all day. I am able to get in again.
First I uninstalled the game entire game, reloaded it. Shut down Norton. Still had the problem.
Then I re-booted my computer. This took care of the 1st problem. However I was faced with another problem. That the game shut down with error [4]. What ever that is.
Finally, I reinstalled the game again. This did the trick
Still not sure why this problem started after I froze while playing. But glad it is working now.
