Been a tester since phase 1 and just recieved an invite to test. A couple of things bother me about these new invitations. I copied the text of the email I received below.

Hello **************,

Thanks for being such a loyal member of the Pirates Online crew. To show our appreciation, we'd like invite you to join us on the Test Server.

As a member of this invite-only game test environment, you will have exclusive access to new features and game updates before they are introduced to the rest of the Pirates Online community in the live game. You will also have the chance to help shape the game's growth by sharing your thoughts and providing feedback on the features released to the Test Server.

Your Test Server account has already been activated - simply follow the instructions below to download and log in to the Game Launcher for the Test Server.

Test Server FAQs:

How do I get invited to play on the Test Server?
Test Server invitations are sent out to Unlimited Access members, based not only on their paid membership, but also on when the Unlimited Access account was created (invitations are sent out to those players who have been active members for the longest period of time). Your participation on the Test Server is entirely optional and your access to the Pirates of the Caribbean Online will not be affected if you choose not to participate. Should you ever choose to cancel your Unlimited Access subscription, your access to the Test Server will also be terminated.

Why should I play on the Test Server?
The Test Server gives you an opportunity to preview new game features and other additions to Pirates of the Caribbean Online before they are released to the general public. The Test Server allows our developers to test new code and updates in an environment that more closely resembles the live game servers - this helps us to make fixes before they make it into the live game. In short, the Test Server is there to help make Pirates of the Caribbean Online a better game - while giving you a chance to get a sneak peek at new additions to the game before other players.

What should I do if I experience bugs, game errors, or downtime while playing on the Test Server?
Because you are playing in a test environment, you may experience bugs, game errors, or downtime. In the event that you do, we encourage you to send a bug report or other comments, as your feedback on these issues is very important, and will help improve the game.

What if I have problems getting on the Test Server?
If you experience any problems getting on to the Test Server, please feel free to e-mail us 24 hours a day at: [email protected] or call us at: (877) 427-7744, Monday through Friday 9 AM to 10 PM (Eastern Time) and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 PM (Eastern Time).

This first thing I noticed is that it says my account is already activated. I would hope it is since I've been using that account since I started playing. I went and checked for my own piece of mind and my test pirates are still intact. Then I read further down in the FAQs that if the new invitees cancel their paid accounts they lose test also.

So my question/fear is; Since it appears that this invitation is being applied to an account that already exists, if I cancel unlimited do I now also lose test?

Something to ponder.
