When i got to about only 12% or so of the quest i was awarded a new hat/bandanna. The quest continues after the hat with visiting Will Turner who helps you get the shirt with more ships to sink, beastys to kill etc....Here's pics

Wow that level 43 Death Omen looks fun to fight.
If my open pirate was on test I would be fighting that.
