I don't think you are, I think its the game, I sank a few other ships and stuff, but I haven't got the credit as in quest thing, but I have been getting Niority points, but not quest stuff, cuz I been sinking Spanish Skeleton ships, I get niority for it, but not quest points for it, and then there is another quest, defeat French ships using either cannon or ship (sailing) and I been doing that, and no quest points, but pvp points
