Well, that is where its coming from. Its not a publicly available option.
I have quite a background of php (web programming language) tinkering on the net.
I have a database on my webhost, that I store/update my guilds pirates data in.
And each member can use it as a sig (dynamically updating data.. when I update it, doesnt update direct from game)
Examples:
http://pirates.teamofx.us/sigs/1.png
http://pirates.teamofx.us/sigs/2.png
http://pirates.teamofx.us/sigs/3.png
http://pirates.teamofx.us/sigs/4.png
http://pirates.teamofx.us/sigs/7.png
http://pirates.teamofx.us/sigs/9.png
The #.png designates which of my guild members to display.
Although thats not available to public, user "Chris" has a similar type of sig that is hosted by some company, you may be able to do what he's doing. (I believe his sig has a link to the service).
Added: Id considered offering the service to limited public, but im not sure my host will be too happy.
