I just want a parrot. To me, this is THE pirates pet. The movie made undead monkies seem pretty cool/mischevious but I still think that a parrot is the traditional pirate pet.
Of course, if our pets helped us attack/defend, well... I might find something larger, meaner, and with larger sharper teeth.
