There is a little bit of real history in the game. There really was a
Port Royal, but it sank in an earthquake in 1692. Cuba and Tortuga are still around.
You could probably make the case that Padres del Fuego corresponds to
St Pierre, Martinique or
Plymouth, Montserrat. The rest could be anything.
