Well it depends on how you sail, if you are the pirate who has a big crew a lot and wants a lot of firepower while in ship battles, this calls for the Frigate class ships. If your more of a solo sailor and like to collect a lot of loot before porting and rely on ship armor, not firepower, I recommend the galleon class. If you don't sink ships that much and usually just sail to get from point A to point B, the sloop class is the right choice. I also recommend you getting all 3 warships, for all your sailing needs.
There really is no best boat in my opinion. It depends on the type of captain.
