"Hanging out" is hardly the case. I did not ask this level 10 character for help in killing the level 30+ enemies I was going after. He just figured he would join in. Gee, thanks. I knew it would just be a matter of time before he asked me to heal him since there is not an enemy in that cave that is less than level 14.
When I was level 10, I didn't even know where Padres was! One of the greatest lessons I learned was just getting too close to the Mercenary at PR. I was dead before I could touch a key on the keyboard. It was an excellent education on the limits of being a lower-level character. Players need to learn that there will not always be a higher-level character around the save them.
Besides, I didn't come up with this character name by accident. Elsewhere I used to RP this demon I am named after and I was merciless. I am a LOT nicer on POTCO and try to help n00bs when I can, but we are bloodthirsty pirates after all, aren't we?
