Upgrading ram is pretty easy once you understand it. You will have to figure out what type of ram you currently have, this can be done by taking out a current ram stick and reading the numbers and one of the mose important is the number that says like, PC-2600 or something else like that and you must buy ram that is the same size as the ram you already have in there or else you will not be able to startup your computer. I suggestion reading your owner's manual like my computer came with a DELL manual which came in pretty handy as it had a diagram showing where the ram is located on the motherboard and maybe what type of ram you have or need to get. Once you have the ram, you can just snap it into an open ram slot on your motherboard (hopefully). I also recommend a lot of internet research like on how to install ram and such. With enough knowlege you should be able to do it yourself.
