Servers are deteriorating. Player ships are getting stuck in islands. Enemy ships are sailing to 'Skip to my Lou, my darling'. In other words, they're skipping a lot. All kinds of lag occur. Bart Blueginty reported that his Notoriety was zero and his Inventory empty. My screen froze several times at Tormenta last night and I wasn't doing much. I thought it was something on my end I forgot to take care of. Or worse, one of those two players who exited Cursed Caverns was messing with the game. Not sure how. Just the timing of when it started to freeze up pointed in their direction. Then again, it may be the server's inability to synchronize three players fighting dregs as a crew. I've seen that happen before when servers are sluggish.
Very likely, some players will have trouble launching the game. The ones with hardware inefficiencies and connectivity issues will readily crash. Try clearing your game cache and try again. If you crash again, submit the Bug Report and notify Members Services about the issue. If enough players do that, POTCO will run system maintenance at once.
