I just looked at the numbers. I can assure you that those are not all Navy ships they sank. They simply sank whatever was floating to discourage anyone from continuing the competition. Don't! Keep going! Sail around Devils if you want and hit the small ships. Just do it.
Also, I'm not seeing fully manned ships. Maybe two gunners at most and that is rare. Most are players sailing their own ships and don't be surprised that he/she has their ship packed with every alt they've got from their numerous accounts. Even if there are only three guys sailing it, each one can put 3 more pirates from 3 accounts to pack a war brig or war frig and get 4 of those Norrington's for themselves.
I would like 50 people listed as winners, not just 20 who got more than one for themselves. I think POTCO will have no choice but to let everybody else who participated to get one too.
