Actually, THAT is exactly what is happening to me. I can actually log in and the "loading Pirates" bars fly by but then instead of switching to the screen where my pirate is standing at the dock, the screen instead goes black and the cursor looks huge and low-res. It then crashes and as the error message comes up, all the icons and folders on my desktop look huge and low-res for a second.
The two help desk people I talked to yesterday on Live Chat said they had not heard of any other Mac users having trouble. I figured that was incorrect. The reason they do not know about it is b/c the bug report isn't working!
I guess I will have to send email. I encourage those of you in the same boat I am to do the same since if they don't hear from us, they won't change anything.
