It is just the undead equivalent to the EITC (Juggernaut) and Navy (Colossus) monster ships. It has a static spawn point but appears to sail a wider range than the other 2.
On a side note, I'm still waiting to see Undead Flagships. I think it would be a blast to slip and fall on the slimy decks when boarding it.
