As for me, my big pirate only comes out to play to work weapons and help out others, I'm having fun building my new pirates
One is only doing weapons, no quests, and the other two are trying to keep a balance with questing and weapon work.
I figure others are doing the same. Every time you see a lower level pirate with a founders coin over their heads, you can rest assured it's someone who has another, high level, pirate out there. So, the higher level pirates are out there, they're just "starting over".
