I'm a people pleaser, and I hate saying no, even when I really don't want to go somewhere else. I've started to do my own thing, regardless of what anyone tells me. More of a piratey mood, also.
That level 45 sure didn't know much about the game, James. That conversation was crazy.
As for Davy's story, I see how annoying that conversation probably was. I hate it when my lower characters are insulted. That guy had probably only just got the staff (just assuming he was level thirty or so) and was showing it off as if it was the most wonderful thing in the world. I did that when I got it. It was wrong to insult someone about not having a staff, though. When you said you had a level 50, he might have been overwhelmed and wanted to show off even more. He was probably an overexcited youngster. It was silly of him to say he had a level 70!
